Linda DePaolo’s dad was a developer, and, as a young girl about the age of 12, she started working for him doing clerical work, typing contracts, planning commission proposals, etc., regarding the development and sale of raw land primarily. This continued until she went to college. Linda initially received her real estate license in the State of Oregon when she lived in Bandon on the Oregon coast in the fall of 2000. She opened her own brokerage, Bandon by the Dune Realty, in 2001 and had as many as six brokers working for her at the peak of the market. She was also licensed in two other states on the east coast for a short time.
Linda retired in 2008 and moved to Peoria, Arizona. She retained the brokerage for another two years and eventually shut it down when the market crashed. Linda obtained her Arizona broker’s license in 2009. She was a designated broker for Arizona Realty Associates for approximately one year and then decided to go out on her own and was self-employed part-time in her own brokerage again, Linda DePaolo PLLC, prior to joining Friedman Realty Associates.
